Job Summary

Our client is an innovative technology company dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and digital transformation. As the company continues to expand, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their finance team.

Responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Process journal entries and ensure proper accounting documentation and record-keeping.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Prepare GST and other statutory filings where applicable.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities during audits and financial reporting exercises.

Monitor cash flow and support treasury-related activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance finance operations and reporting efficiency.

Assist with ad hoc finance projects and other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in the technology industry is an advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Self-motivated, responsible, and eager to continuously improve processes.
