Who We Are

Futureleap Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-incorporated company and a licensed employment agency (Ministry of Manpower Employment Agency Licence No. 18C9056, Comprehensive Licence (non-Foreign Domestic Worker)). We are the organisation responsible for personal data collected through the Futureleap platform and through the Futureleap Talent Network, and we handle that data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore). Our licence permits us to operate as an employment agency in Singapore. It is not an endorsement of any Futureleap service by the Ministry of Manpower, and it is not itself a guarantee about how we handle your information — that is set out in this policy.

02

Information Collected

Futureleap collects information you provide directly to us. For candidates this includes your name, contact details, profile photo, professional profile, resume or CV, career preferences, saved jobs, job applications, application history and any responses you submit through our forms.

If you choose to join the Futureleap Talent Network, we additionally collect the details you provide for that purpose: your specialisations, seniority and current job title, years of experience, professional qualifications, industries, skills, the roles and seniority you are open to, your preferred industries, working arrangements and employment types, your preferred location, your current and expected compensation ranges, your notice period and earliest availability, whether you are open to a confidential approach, your LinkedIn address, and any free-text context you choose to add. We also record which version of the Talent Network consent statements you accepted, when you accepted them, and each later change you make to your membership.

For employers this includes your name, work contact details, role, company information such as entity name, registration number, country and logo, team membership and invitations, job postings, hiring briefs, enquiries and correspondence with our team.

We also collect limited technical and usage information automatically when you use the platform, such as device type, browser, referring pages, pages viewed and general usage patterns, to help us secure and improve the service.

Interactive Career Resources — the Offer Evaluator, Promotion Readiness Scorecard and Big 4 Readiness Assessment — and the Salary Benchmark process the inputs you enter to generate indicative results. Where you are signed in, we may retain your submissions so the results remain available to you.

03

Use of Information

We use the information we collect to deliver, maintain, secure and improve the Futureleap platform, create and administer accounts, respond to enquiries, publish and manage job postings, process applications, match candidates with opportunities, produce market intelligence, and communicate about the services you have requested.

We also send service and lifecycle emails — for example account verification, password reset, application updates and reminders to complete your profile. You can opt out of non-essential reminders; essential service messages are required to operate your account. Optional job alert emails are sent only if you ask for them, as described under Job Alerts below.

Futureleap Talent Network. The Talent Network is a separate, voluntary and confidential channel. Joining is not a job application, and signing in to Futureleap does not enrol you. Where you are an active member, we use the details you submitted for the Talent Network, together with the profile details in your Futureleap account, to privately assess whether a specific opportunity may be relevant to you. The Talent Network does not read, use or send your CV. Where a CV is attached to your account we may note only that one exists; its contents are not used for Talent Network assessment and are not disclosed through the Talent Network. If we ever change that, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Assessment is server-assisted and reviewed by a person at Futureleap; no decision to contact you or to introduce you is made automatically. Employers cannot browse, search or subscribe to the Talent Network, and we do not publish the network’s membership or its size.

04

Job Alerts

Job alerts are optional and off unless you turn them on. You can opt in when you create your account, when we offer alerts within the platform, or at any time from Notifications in your account settings, and you can switch them off again at the same place or by using the unsubscribe link in any alert email.

Where you have opted in, we use career information and evidence available in your account — including your profile, your uploaded CV and career evidence derived from it, and your Career Snapshot where you have one — to identify recently listed opportunities related to your career. Selection is automated and rule-based; alert emails contain no assessment of your suitability and are not seen or influenced by any employer before they are sent.

Alerts may include roles posted directly on Futureleap and opportunities sourced from third-party job providers. External opportunities are identified as such, and applying to one may take you to the provider’s or employer’s own website.

Job alerts are separate from essential service communications such as account, security, application and payment or receipt emails, which are part of the service and are not affected by this setting. Job alerts are also entirely separate from the Futureleap Talent Network and from your marketing preferences: joining, pausing or leaving the Talent Network does not change your job alert settings, and changing your job alert settings does not change your Talent Network membership.

05

Disclosure of Information

When you apply for a role or ask us to represent you, your profile, resume and application information is shared with the relevant employer or client for that opportunity. Employers who post roles receive the applications submitted to them, and authorised members of an employer’s company workspace can see that company’s postings, applicants and hiring activity.

Beyond this, information is only shared with prospective employers, clients or partners with your prior consent, where necessary to progress a specific engagement, with the service providers described below, or where required by law or regulatory obligation.

Talent Network introductions. We do not disclose your identity, your contact details or any document to an employer through the Talent Network unless you separately approve that specific introduction. An approval covers one identified opportunity with one named prospective employer, and it expires if you do not act on it. Before any identifiable introduction, we require that employer to have accepted Futureleap’s terms for that opportunity, and we record that acceptance. We do not currently show employers any profile or summary of a Talent Network member before you have approved an introduction. If we introduce such a feature, we will update this policy and tell you before it applies to you. We record every approval, every introduction and exactly what was disclosed. Pausing or leaving the Talent Network stops any further assessment or introduction; it cannot undo an introduction already made with your approval, and we cannot recall information an employer has already received. How long we keep these records is set out under Data Retention below.

Aggregated or de-identified market and salary insights that do not identify you personally may be published or shared.

06

Analytics and Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the platform. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data, including a truncated or anonymised form of your IP address, on our behalf. We also operate our own internal product analytics to measure feature usage; these events are designed to exclude resumes, application content, free-text submissions and credentials.

07

Advertising and Campaign Measurement

We advertise Futureleap on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether those campaigns work, we use the Meta Pixel — an advertising technology that sets cookies and shares a limited set of measurement events with Meta Platforms, Inc., which acts as an independent controller for that data.

The Meta Pixel is off by default. It only loads after you allow advertising cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, it runs only on our live site (futureleap.sg), and it never runs on your account, company or administrative pages. Automatic advanced matching is disabled.

When it is enabled, Meta receives only: the standard event name (page view, content view, or lead when an account is created), the page path and title, the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, and an event identifier and timestamp. Meta never receives your name, email address, phone number, account identifier, CV or its filename, salary information, Career Snapshot results, job matches, applications or any authentication token.

Separately, when you arrive through a campaign link we store the campaign parameters from that first visit (such as utm_source, utm_campaign and Meta's click identifier) in your browser for up to 90 days, and record them once against your account if you create one. This is first-party data used only for our own campaign reporting; it is not published or shared with advertising platforms.

You can withdraw advertising consent at any time from the Cookie and Advertising Preferences below, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect necessary sign-in or functional storage.

Cookie and Advertising Preferences

09

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the platform, including cloud hosting and database, authentication and file storage, transactional email delivery, and analytics. These providers process personal data on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. Some may process or store data outside Singapore; where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection as required by the PDPA. Talent Network data is held in the same hosted database and storage environment as the rest of the platform and is subject to the same controls; we do not share it with any additional third party for Talent Network purposes.

10

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Our current schedule is:

  • Account and platform data — retained while your account is open, and for a limited period afterwards where we need it to resolve a dispute or to meet a legal obligation.
  • Talent Network membership, qualifications and preferences — we stop using these as soon as you pause or leave. We delete them within 30 days of you leaving the Talent Network. If you delete your Futureleap account, they are removed immediately along with the rest of your account data. We do not keep a copy of your Talent Network profile for any other reason.
  • Records of a candidate being considered for an opportunity where no introduction was made — irreversibly anonymised within 12 months.
  • Employer terms that were declined, withdrawn or expired without an introduction — deleted within 12 months.
  • Records of consent, of employer terms accepted for an introduction that took place, of the approval you gave, and of the introduction itself — kept in identifiable form for 6 years, after which the identifiers that link the record to a person are irreversibly replaced with random values while the record of what happened is kept. We keep these so that we can show that consent was validly obtained and honoured, that an employer accepted our terms, and exactly what was disclosed and when — including where the underlying account has since been deleted. Six years is a period Futureleap has chosen, to align with the general limitation period for civil claims in Singapore. The Personal Data Protection Act does not require it.
  • Security and operational audit records — 24 months, or as long as the related introduction record where that is longer.

Deleting your Futureleap account removes your Talent Network membership and your Talent Network matching details immediately. A limited record that you consented, when, and to which version — and of any introduction actually made with your approval — is kept as described above. Those records contain a durable account identifier. We do not describe that identifier as anonymous while we can still reasonably connect it back to you. Where the schedule calls for anonymisation, we replace the identifier with a freshly generated random value and keep no key or table that could reverse it.

We may keep a record for longer where there is an unresolved dispute or complaint, an investigation into fraud, misuse or a security incident, a regulatory request, or a legal hold on legal advice. Such an extension applies only to records we have already created; it never causes us to keep your Talent Network profile, and it never delays deletion of your account data. Every extension is individually authorised, given a review date and an expiry date, and reviewed at least quarterly.

Your rights over this information — including access, correction and withdrawal — are set out under Your Rights below.

11

Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss, including encrypted transport, authenticated access, and row-level access controls that restrict data to the account or company workspace it belongs to. No online service can be guaranteed to be entirely secure, and we encourage you to use strong passwords and to notify us promptly of any suspected security issue. Talent Network records are held under additional restrictions: they are not readable by employer accounts under any circumstances, and identifiable Talent Network data is accessible only to a small number of authorised Futureleap staff.

12

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to specific uses of your information at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service. Much of your information can be updated directly in your account; other requests can be sent to hello@futureleap.sg and we will respond within a reasonable time.

You can access and correct your Talent Network details at any time from your Talent Network page, pause your membership, resume it, or leave the network entirely — none of which affects your Futureleap account, your job alert settings or your marketing preferences. Withdrawing your Talent Network consent stops all further assessment, matching, approval requests and introductions immediately. Where we need to keep a limited record of your consent, or of an introduction already made, we will tell you what has been kept and why if you ask. What we keep, and for how long, is set out under Data Retention above.

13

Children

The Futureleap platform is intended for working professionals and students of working age. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below the minimum legal working age.

14

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal obligations. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
