Job Summary

Fortis Group Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the Group. The role supports entities primarily involved in property holding and rental activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting and effective financial controls. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is suitable for someone who can work independently while coordinating effectively with management and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Handle full sets of accounts for assigned companies

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing and collection monitoring.

Record rental income, property-related expenses and other financial transactions accurately.

Prepare monthly bank, intercompany and balance-sheet reconciliations.

Monitor rental receipts, security deposits, outstanding payments and recurring expenses.

Maintain schedules for fixed assets, loans, prepayments, accruals and deposits.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Liaise with tenants, property agents, banks, vendors and other relevant parties on finance-related matters.

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.

Prepare ad hoc financial reports and undertake other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

At least 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Prior experience handling full sets of accounts is preferred.

Experience in property holding, property management, leasing or a related industry would be advantageous.

Familiarity with accounting software and online banking platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
